“Change is difficult.” Among the many misconceptions about change, this one is extremely common. It is also not true. “Change isn’t difficult.” Change is one of the natural occurrences in life. The misconceptions about change are rooted in a mindset gripped by fear. This fear is an emotional response to what is unfamiliar.
Your logical mind is not equipped to know what is going to “happen”; it only knows what has “happened”. The past is its reference point, and your mind wants to keep you in your comfort zone. Change nudges you out of your comfort zone. When you are going through a challenging experience, be willing to see beyond your current reality.
Change is dynamic. It is a movement of energy. When you decide to move with change by taking action, the energy of fear will dissipate. This is also true for changes that you feel are forced on you. Embrace change, check in with your inner Self, and take action. You will discover that life is designed to assist you on your life journey. Change is a bridge. A bridge to move you from where you are, to where you want to be.
You cannot avoid change. It is part of life. Change (pun unintended) how you see change. Shift your view on what you are capable of doing. Trust the unknown. Recognize that life is never against you.
